A Home of My Own

Write Club Prompt #55

I was going to write a story for this prompt. Something about a guy building his ideal home. Then I realized I was pretty much just describing the home I already have just in a “better” neighborhood. Honestly I wouldn’t even want to live there. I was just writing it as a flex. And as it was untrue to my soul it will not be written. Therefore, I will describe why my home is already ideal.

First, I own it. I don’t have to worry about rent. Only maintence which is much more reasonable. Second, location is still the most important part of real estate. My location gives me access to my community. The more I think about it the more I realize everything that makes me happy is having family and a community nearby. There is no other location that has this.
