Maybe I should explain my choices.
House of Bricks - Basically my go to workout song. When I need to get hyped to get that last set done this is the song. I knew this week would be busy so I needed to get hyped up.
Time to Pretend - I love this song so much. What I wish I could to every morning after a party when I need to get up for work. A good reminder that life is always about trade offs.
Lampshades on Fire - This one’s done so where to now? A condemnation of consumerism. Or possibly a reflection on fleeting time. It always reminds me to appreciate what I have.
1979 - This one came on the radio as I was driving home last night. It makes me feel nostalgia for a time and place and people that never existed.
On Melancholy Hill - A slightly sad song that’s pining for a lover and still upbeat and hopeful in it’s vibe. That’s me. This isn’t the song of my week it’s the song of my life.
