Write Club Prompt #67
Look, I don’t like the beach. Sand is terrible, I can’t swim so going in the water sucks, and I sunburn in minutes. The water is nice to look at though and the breeze always relaxes me. If I have to go to a beach I just hope it has a cool boardwalk.
The mountains and the forest can be cool. Upstate New York has some real gorgeous areas. If I’m looking to relax I would definitely head upstate and take in the views. The forest is the first thinkg that comes to mind when I think of nature.
Then there is the desert. An alien landscape as far as I am concerned. At firs glance so desolate and hostile. Yet life finds a way to exist and thrive in the most unusual ways. I have a strange fondness for the desert.
The place I would most like to go right now is an isolated island. A place remote with secrets known only by a few. A good place to disappear.
