Conscious Something or Other

The phrase “conscious purpose” strikes me as corporate new speak. Like it’s trying to make talking about what you want to do in life to something more meaningful. My purpose, what I want to do, right now is to just stop having to work. All the fun I have in life gets sapped away by work and I just want to live a leisurely life. Or at least one more summer vacation.
When I was young I didn’t have the money or the vision to have a really great summer vacation. Now that I have some money and a more adventurous spirit I just have to keep working. At least I’m trying to relax a bit more while I can.
