This may just be because I finished reading his memoir but I would really like Norm MacDonald to write my life story. My life is not interesting enough to really carry a whole book so I’ll trust Norm to spice it up a bit.
In a more serious tone I really enjoyed his “not a memoir.” The theme of misinterpretation really struck a chord. Norm spends the whole book emphasizing that no matter what we think we know we inevitably miss something. Maybe we miss everything. In this life getting just 1% is an accomplishment.
Thinking about old Norm I think the best compliment I can give him is he’s the type of person I regret never meeting in real life. He was such a tremendous character.
