Write Club Prompt #43
This is a tough one for me. My heart has gone through so much. If I were to pick a song to idealize it would be Heavy Metal Heart by Sky Ferreira. I’m not there yet so I’ll have to pick something else. Maybe a reference to Undertale and say my heart is filled with determination. That’s only capturing a small amount. A moment. The truth is every day is different and I feel such wild swings from day to day. That constant agitation the Werther spoke of. That’s what I feel. Always shifting and changing.
There are some very good moments. The best are when I am with my nieces and nephews. Next to that is spending time with my friends. Maybe it is foolish to wish for the good times and good feelings to continue. Even if that is the case I am still grateful for the times spent lonely and wandering in the deserts of the heart.
