I’m the type of person that changes his mind quit often so it’s tough to pick just one. The first one that comes to mind is learning a foreign language. My first introduction to learning a language was in elementary school where I absolutely hated it. I found the classes boring and just memorized what I needed to know for the test. Just recently I started back with Duolingo and for the first time I am taking the learning of a foreign language seriously.
What was the reason for the change? Like most of my reasoning it was a slow revolution rather than a quick 180. In one sense if I can teach myself a language with a simple app and some internet videos it will more than vindicate my earlier hatred of the flawed school curriculum that drove me crazy. At the very least it is an improvement over the social media that attracts so many people and wastes so much time.
