Tamora's revenge; uncharitable murder, worse than killing lust
Inspired by the note linked below. This is a haiku about the Goth Queen Tamora from Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus. She is one of the most brutal villains I’ve ever come across. Shakespeare really over does the violence in the play and that’s the point. Titus tries to live by Roman laws. Tamora represents unrestricted cruelty and violence. Titus has no clue what he’s dealing with until it is too late.

Aaron was always one of my favorite's from that play. Who can forget his famous retort, "Villain, I have done thy mother."
I heard Patrick Stewart say that for King Lear, when the Duke goes to remove the eyes out of the man, he had the prop department make a kind of squishy eyeball.
It was so effective that he heard people gagging and leaving the theatre.
The director told him it was not good for people to leave the play, so he toned it down :)
It was in one of these Folger Shakespeare podcasts. (the violence bit reminded me of this story).
