What is in a Name

Write Club Prompt #96

My name, my real name, is something my parents picked. The story goes they had picked a different name for me then one night saw an character actor’s name in the credits of a TV show they were watching and my mom decided it was a better name. It just happened to have a connection to my dad’s side of the family so they went with it.

Overall I think it is a good name and I wouldn’t change it. After all what would really change about my life if only my name had been different? Of all the things that could be different in my life I have never put thought into having a different name.
