The first time I heard of a vision board was when my little sister asked me to help her print some pictures off of her tablet. They were cute kids this at first. That Barbie house she wanted, new clothes for her doll, and a group shot of her favorite k-pop band. She said the board would let her manifest anything she wanted. I laughed it off but she was sure it would work. Little did I know how well it would work.
The next week an Amazon box arrived and the Barbie house was inside. No one in the house admitted to ordering it and our parents Amazon account had no record of it. I suggested it was a gift from grandma but nobody followed up.
Things were quiet until it happened again with the clothes. Then our dad somehow won tickets to the k-pop group’s sold out show. I told my sister she was sure getting really lucky recently. She just smiled and said it wasn’t luck. I just teased her and said next time she made a vision board I could use a new GPU.
That night we printed out a dozen more pictures for her and one GPU for me. Over the course of the next month every one of the things came to us for free.
It was pretty fun watching my sister get so excited with each new thing. Then she had me print a picture of a unicorn.
